About Eagle Vision

The Eagle Vision was a four-door, front-wheel-drive sedan sold for the 1993–1997 model years. It replaced the Eagle Premier and became the brand’s largest passenger car. Built in Ontario, Canada, it was one of the main vehicles developed for Eagle under Chrysler ownership.

The Vision used Chrysler’s LH platform and was closely related to the Dodge Intrepid and Chrysler Concorde. Its cab-forward design moved the passenger compartment towards the front, contributing to a spacious cabin and the low nose, long wheelbase and steeply raked windscreen that defined Chrysler’s early LH models. In some export markets, it was sold as the Chrysler Vision.

North American versions were mainly offered in ESi and TSi form. The ESi generally used a 3.3-litre V6, while the TSi featured a 3.5-litre V6, additional equipment and a more performance-oriented specification. Both used a four-speed automatic transmission.

Within Chrysler’s range of related large sedans, the Vision occupied a sportier, more sophisticated position. It is chiefly known for distinctive 1990s styling, generous passenger space and strong V6 options. Production ended after 1997 as Chrysler prepared to discontinue the Eagle marque.
