About Xiaomi YU7
The Xiaomi YU7 is a five-seat battery-electric SUV introduced in 2025. It is Xiaomi EV’s second production model and its first SUV, following the SU7 saloon. Built at Xiaomi’s vehicle plant in Beijing and launched for mainland China, the YU7 broadened the brand’s range into the high-volume mid-to-large SUV class.
At launch, the range comprised Standard, Pro and Max versions. These covered rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive layouts, with the Max positioned as the performance flagship. The family later expanded with a more accessible Standard model and the YU7 GT, a higher-performance derivative with dedicated chassis, powertrain and aerodynamic upgrades.
The YU7 is known for combining a low, streamlined profile with the cabin space and practicality expected of a large crossover. Depending on the version, key features include an 800-volt electrical platform, rapid DC charging, long CLTC-rated driving ranges and strong acceleration.
