About Volvo EX60
The Volvo EX60 is a five-seat, fully electric mid-size SUV introduced in 2026. It occupies the 60-series position in Volvo’s electric range, below the three-row EX90 and above the smaller EX30 and EX40. In size and purpose, it is the battery-electric counterpart to the XC60, aimed at the premium family SUV market.
The EX60 is the first model built on Volvo’s SPA3 dedicated electric architecture. Production began in April 2026 at the Torslanda plant near Gothenburg. It is Volvo’s first fully electric car designed, developed and built in Sweden. As a new nameplate, it remains in its first generation.
Main versions include the rear-wheel-drive P6 Electric and all-wheel-drive P10 AWD Electric, with the longer-range P12 AWD Electric following according to market.
