About VinFast VF 2
The VinFast VF 2 is a compact battery-electric city car, also known in its commercial form as the Minio Green. Introduced as the VF 2 in Vietnam in July 2026, it adapts the Minio Green platform for private customers. The model is positioned below the VF 3 as the smallest and most affordable passenger car in VinFast’s VF range.
At 3,090 mm long, the VF 2 has two doors and seating for four. Its short body, 13-inch wheels and tight urban focus suit congested streets and limited parking spaces. Production is based in Vietnam, with the Hà Tĩnh factory established to build compact models including the Minio Green. Initial VF 2 customer deliveries were scheduled for September 2026.
The main variation is based on intended use: Minio Green was developed for both personal and commercial transport, while the VF 2 is marketed primarily to individual buyers. The VF 2 uses a rear-mounted 30 kW electric motor, has a top speed of 80 km/h and offers Eco and Normal driving modes. Its 18.3 kWh usable battery provides a claimed range of up to 210 km under the NEDC test cycle. Notable qualities include simple controls, compact dimensions, low-speed manoeuvrability and practical weather protection for short urban journeys.
