The Suzuki Super Carry is a compact cab-over commercial vehicle developed for urban deliveries, small businesses and other light-duty work. The name has been used in different regional contexts rather than for one uniform global model line. The modern Indian-built Super Carry was introduced in 2016 as Maruti Suzuki’s first light commercial vehicle. Initially powered by a small diesel engine, it later adopted petrol and petrol-CNG powertrains. Current versions include a factory load-deck model and a cab-chassis configuration for specialised bodies. This model is also sold in selected markets outside India, with specifications varying by country.
In Japan, the Super Carry name identifies a separate derivative of the Carry kei truck, launched in 2018. It combines an extended high-roof cab, reclining seats and additional interior storage with a practical rear cargo bed. Two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive versions have been offered, along with manual and automatic transmissions.
