About Suzuki Ozark
The Suzuki Ozark is a compact utility all-terrain vehicle designed for light work and recreational trail riding. The name appeared on smaller LT-F160 models in some markets, but it is most closely associated with the LT-F250 Ozark 250 introduced for the 2002 model year. This model formed part of a broader renewal of Suzuki’s ATV range and remained available for many years, although sales periods differed by country.
The Ozark 250 uses a 246 cc air-cooled, four-stroke single-cylinder engine, a five-speed transmission with automatic clutch and reverse, and shaft final drive. It is a two-wheel-drive ATV rather than a larger four-wheel-drive machine. Front and rear cargo racks, electric starting, full floorboards and relatively compact dimensions support its dual-purpose role.
Rather than passing through several distinct generations, the Ozark retained the same basic platform with incremental model-year updates, revised styling and different colours or market specifications. It occupied the affordable, lower-capacity end of Suzuki’s utility range, below the larger KingQuad models. The Ozark is chiefly known for straightforward controls, manageable size, simple mechanical design and a practical balance between everyday utility and casual off-road use.
