About Suzuki Landy

The Suzuki Landy is a three-row minivan sold mainly in Japan. Introduced in 2007, it gives Suzuki a larger people carrier above the compact Solio, serving buyers who need more passenger and luggage space than the brand’s smaller cars provide. It is positioned primarily as a practical family vehicle rather than a luxury MPV.

Four generations have appeared. The first three, launched in 2007, 2010 and 2016, were supplied by Nissan and closely related to contemporary versions of the Serena. Suzuki changed partners for the fourth generation in 2022, when the Landy became an OEM version of the Toyota Noah. This production approach allows Suzuki to offer a conventional medium-sized minivan without developing a separate model of its own.

Across its generations, the Landy has been known for a tall body, three seating rows, sliding rear doors and a flexible cabin. Most versions seat seven or eight occupants, while equipment and powertrain choices have varied by year. Earlier models included petrol and mild-hybrid configurations, with both front- and four-wheel-drive derivatives available in some periods.

The current Landy uses a 1.8-litre full-hybrid system. Seven- and eight-seat layouts are offered, with front-wheel drive standard and E-Four available on the seven-seat version. Its main qualities remain interior space, adaptable seating, easy access and everyday usability for families or groups.
