The Suzuki GSX-R is a family of fully faired sport motorcycles developed around race-derived performance for road use. The name first appeared on the GSX-R400 in 1984, while the GSX-R750 launched in 1985 established the line’s international identity. Its lightweight aluminium frame, oil-cooled four-cylinder engine and endurance-racing influence helped shape the modern race-replica category.
