About Rolls-Royce Phantom
The Rolls-Royce Phantom is a four-door super-luxury saloon and the marque’s flagship model. The nameplate first appeared in 1925 and has long represented the highest level of Rolls-Royce comfort, craftsmanship and formal presence. Early generations were often supplied for coachbuilt bodies, while later versions developed into complete factory-produced luxury cars and limousines.
Phantom also played a central role in the brand’s modern era. The seventh generation launched production at Rolls-Royce’s Goodwood facility in England in 2003. Its range included the standard saloon, an Extended model, the Drophead Coupé convertible and the two-door Coupé.
The eighth-generation Phantom was introduced in 2017 and received a Series II update in 2022. It is offered in standard and extended-wheelbase forms, with the latter providing additional rear-cabin space. Built on Rolls-Royce’s aluminium Architecture of Luxury, it uses a V12 petrol engine and is designed for quiet, smooth progress rather than sporting character.
Within the Rolls-Royce range, Phantom sits above Ghost, Cullinan and Spectre in status. It is especially known for its imposing proportions, highly insulated cabin, rear-seat comfort and extensive Bespoke personalisation. The Gallery, a glass-enclosed display area across the fascia, is unique to the model and can house commissioned artwork.
