About Rolls-Royce Cullinan
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is a full-size ultra-luxury SUV introduced in 2018 as the marque’s first production SUV. Named after the Cullinan Diamond, it brought increased ground clearance, all-wheel drive and greater everyday versatility to the Rolls-Royce range. The model is built at Goodwood, England, using the brand’s aluminium Architecture of Luxury platform.
Its twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V12, eight-speed automatic transmission, self-levelling air suspension and four-wheel steering are designed to provide quiet, smooth performance on varied surfaces. The cabin is known for extensive hand-finished materials, rear-hinged back doors and a high level of bespoke personalisation. Depending on specification, the rear compartment may prioritise passenger comfort, luggage capacity or outdoor-oriented features such as the optional Viewing Suite seats.
The original Cullinan was joined by the more assertive Black Badge version in 2019, with additional power, revised chassis tuning and darker styling details. Cullinan Series II arrived in 2024 with updated exterior design, new digital interfaces and expanded customisation choices; Black Badge Cullinan Series II continued as the more driver-focused variation. As Rolls-Royce’s only SUV, the Cullinan occupies the utility-focused position in the line-up while retaining the refinement and craftsmanship associated with the brand.
