About Porsche Panamera

The Porsche Panamera is a large four-door luxury performance car introduced in 2009. Its low fastback profile and rear liftgate provide more passenger and luggage space than Porsche’s two-door sports cars while maintaining a strong focus on performance. The model is produced at Porsche’s Leipzig plant in Germany, where complete manufacturing began with the second generation in 2016.

The Panamera entered its third generation for the 2024 model year. It occupies the upper luxury segment, complementing the electric Taycan and providing a lower, more car-like alternative to the Cayenne SUV. Its main role within the Porsche range is to combine long-distance comfort and four-door practicality with sports-car-influenced handling.

Depending on generation and market, the range has included rear- and all-wheel drive, petrol and plug-in hybrid powertrains, performance-focused GTS and Turbo variants, long-wheelbase Executive models and the Sport Turismo estate-style body offered during the second generation. The current generation uses the fastback saloon body and offers petrol and E-Hybrid versions. The Panamera is particularly known for strong performance, refined interiors, advanced suspension technology and its broad balance between comfortable cruising and dynamic driving.
