About Nissan Qashqai
The Nissan Qashqai is a compact crossover SUV developed primarily for European customers. Launched in 2007, it combined the footprint and road manners of a family hatchback with the raised seating position, styling and versatility associated with an SUV. Its strong market response helped establish the modern crossover as a mainstream vehicle type.
Designed and engineered in Europe, the Qashqai has been closely associated with Nissan’s Sunderland plant in the United Kingdom. Three generations have appeared: the original model, the second generation introduced in 2014, and the third generation launched in 2021 and updated in 2024.
