About Nissan Juke
The Nissan Juke is a subcompact crossover introduced in 2010 as a sportier alternative to a conventional small hatchback. Its raised stance, compact dimensions, coupé-like profile and unconventional lighting gave it a distinctive identity. The model became an early contributor to the growth of the small urban crossover class.
Two generations have been produced. The first was sold across Europe, Japan, North America and other markets, with powertrains and front- or all-wheel drive varying by region. Its range included the performance-focused Juke Nismo and Nismo RS. The second generation arrived in 2019 with a more spacious cabin, updated driver-assistance systems and greater emphasis on connectivity. Petrol and hybrid versions are offered in selected markets, while grades such as N-Sport focus mainly on styling and equipment.
Within Nissan’s European range, the Juke sits below the larger Qashqai and serves as the brand’s design-led city crossover. European production is centred at Nissan’s Sunderland plant in the UK. The model is chiefly known for bold styling, compact road footprint, elevated seating and a balance of hatchback-like manoeuvrability with crossover practicality.
