About Mercedes-Benz EQV
Mercedes-Benz introduced the EQV in 2019, with series production beginning in 2020 at the company’s Vitoria plant in Spain. It is a battery-electric premium MPV developed from the same mid-size van platform as the V-Class, combining a spacious passenger cabin with an electric powertrain.
The EQV has remained within one main model generation. A substantial update launched for 2024 brought revised exterior styling, a widescreen cockpit, newer MBUX infotainment, expanded assistance technology and equipment improvements. Depending on market and model year, versions include the EQV 300 with the larger battery and the EQV 250 with a smaller battery. Long and extra-long body configurations have also been offered, although availability differs by country.
Designed primarily for private passenger use, the EQV occupies the luxury people-carrier position in Mercedes-Benz’s electric range. Its flexible seating and large interior suit families, executive transport and shuttle services. Placing the high-voltage battery beneath the floor helps preserve cabin space, while front-wheel drive, regenerative braking, AC charging and DC rapid charging support everyday use.
