About Mercedes-Benz AMG ONE
Mercedes-AMG ONE is a two-seat, mid-engined plug-in hybrid hypercar created as the technological flagship of Mercedes-AMG. Previewed by the Project ONE concept at the 2017 Frankfurt motor show, the production version debuted in 2022 after complex development to adapt Formula One-derived hardware for road use. Production is limited to 275 cars, making it one of the brand’s rarest series models.
Unlike broader AMG ranges, the ONE is a standalone vehicle rather than a high-performance derivative of a Mercedes-Benz passenger car. It has one generation and one core configuration, without separate coupé, roadster or conventional engine variants. Its powertrain combines a 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 with four electric motors, producing 782 kW (1,063 hp). An electrically driven front axle enables variable all-wheel drive and torque vectoring, while limited electric-only driving is possible.
The model is known for bringing unusually direct Formula One technology to a road-legal car. Notable features include a carbon-fibre monocoque and body, a load-bearing engine and transmission assembly, pushrod suspension, active aerodynamics and a drag-reduction system. With a capped top speed of 352 km/h and production-car Nürburgring records, it sits above the AMG GT and SL as the ultimate halo model in the Mercedes-AMG line-up.
