About Kia Seltos
The Kia Seltos is a subcompact crossover SUV introduced in 2019 as a global model. It made its world debut in India, where it became important to Kia’s market expansion, before reaching regions including South Korea, North America, China and Australia. Production and specifications are adapted to regional requirements.
Within Kia’s SUV range, the Seltos is generally positioned below the Sportage and, where both are offered, above the smaller Sonet. It combines city-friendly dimensions with an upright body, useful ground clearance and more cabin and cargo space than many smaller crossovers. Depending on the market, versions have included front-wheel or all-wheel drive, naturally aspirated and turbocharged petrol engines, diesel engines, and varied manual, automatic or dual-clutch transmissions.
