About Kia K8
The Kia K8 is a large E-segment sedan introduced in South Korea in 2021. It replaced the K7, which was sold in some export markets as the Cadenza, and adopted a new name as Kia strengthened the premium positioning of its passenger-car range. The model is sold mainly in South Korea and selected international markets, with specifications and availability varying by country.
The K8 remains in its first generation. A substantial update launched in 2024 revised the exterior design, cabin technology, comfort equipment and driver-assistance features without creating a new generation. Depending on the market and model year, versions have included 2.5-litre and 3.5-litre petrol engines, a 3.5-litre LPG powertrain and a 1.6-litre turbocharged hybrid.
