About Jaguar F-PACE
The Jaguar F-PACE is a mid-size luxury SUV and the brand’s first production SUV. Introduced for the 2016 model year and inspired by the C-X17 concept, it brought Jaguar into a major premium market segment while retaining design and driving characteristics associated with the company’s saloons and sports cars. Production took place at Jaguar Land Rover’s Solihull plant in the UK.
The five-seat F-PACE uses an aluminium-intensive structure and combines a relatively low, athletic profile with the cabin space, raised driving position and luggage capacity expected from an SUV. Within Jaguar’s former range, it sat above the smaller E-PACE and offered a more conventional alternative to the electric I-PACE. It competed with established European luxury SUVs, with an emphasis on responsive handling, distinctive styling and long-distance comfort.
Versions varied considerably by model year and market. The range included four- and six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, mild-hybrid systems and the P400e plug-in hybrid. R-Dynamic models added sportier trim, while the high-performance SVR used a supercharged V8. A substantial 2021 model-year update introduced revised exterior details, a redesigned cabin and newer infotainment technology.
F-PACE production ended in December 2025, closing a decade-long run and marking the end of Jaguar’s combustion-engine vehicle production.
