About Jaguar E-PACE
The Jaguar E-PACE is a five-seat compact luxury SUV introduced in 2017 and sold from the 2018 model year. It became the smallest member of Jaguar’s PACE SUV family, positioned below the larger F-PACE. In several markets, it also served as the entry point to the Jaguar range.
Most global-market E-PACE models were assembled by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria, while Chery Jaguar Land Rover produced a separate version in Changshu for Chinese customers. Austrian production ended in December 2024 as Jaguar prepared to reshape its model portfolio.
Powertrain availability varied by country and model year. The range included turbocharged Ingenium petrol and diesel engines, with front- or all-wheel drive depending on specification. Later versions added mild-hybrid technology and the P300e plug-in hybrid. Variants included regular trims, sportier R-Dynamic models, the 300 Sport and limited launch or appearance editions.
A major update for 2021 brought revised styling, a redesigned cabin, newer electronic architecture and Pivi infotainment. The E-PACE is known for its compact dimensions, coupe-influenced design, driver-focused character and useful five-seat practicality, combining SUV versatility with a more road-oriented approach than a traditional off-road vehicle.
