About INFINITI I35
The INFINITI I30 and I35 were front-wheel-drive, five-seat mid-size luxury sedans sold mainly in North America. Introduced for the 1996 model year, the I30 became a central part of INFINITI’s passenger-car range, offering more space and comfort than the smaller G20 while sitting below the flagship Q45. It was closely related to the Nissan Cefiro and Maxima, but featured distinct styling, equipment and interior details.
The I30 covered two generations. First-generation models were offered from 1996 to 1999, followed by a larger, more powerful redesign for 2000. Both used a 3.0-litre V6, while the second generation increased output and added further luxury and technology features.
