About Hyundai Venue
The Hyundai Venue is a five-door subcompact crossover SUV introduced in 2019. Developed mainly for urban use, it combines a short exterior footprint and raised seating position with the practicality of a hatchback. It sits near the lower end of Hyundai’s SUV range, generally below models such as the Kona or Creta, depending on the market.
The first-generation Venue was sold internationally with market-specific styling, equipment and powertrains. Petrol engines are most common, while some countries have also offered turbo-petrol or diesel versions, paired with manual, conventional automatic, continuously variable or dual-clutch transmissions. Most models are front-wheel drive, reflecting the Venue’s focus on road use rather than off-road capability.
An all-new Venue made its global debut in India in November 2025, introducing a larger body, a longer wheelbase and updated cabin, connectivity and safety technology. Model changeover varies by region, and the earlier design remains available in some markets. Notable variations include the sportier N Line and appearance-focused editions such as the Venue Knight.
The Venue is known as an accessible entry point into Hyundai’s SUV line-up. Its key qualities include easy manoeuvrability, efficient use of cabin space, straightforward everyday performance and a relatively strong selection of infotainment, convenience and driver-assistance features for its class.
