About Honda Ye P7
The Honda Ye P7 is a battery-electric SUV developed specifically for the Chinese market. It was unveiled in April 2024 as one of the first models in Honda’s new Ye electric-vehicle series, alongside the closely related S7. The production model was launched by GAC Honda in April 2025 under the simplified Honda P7 name.
Built on Honda’s dedicated Architecture W electric platform, also known in China as the Yunchi architecture, the P7 occupies a central position in the company’s expanding Chinese EV range. It is a five-seat SUV intended to combine everyday practicality and connected technology with the driving characteristics traditionally associated with Honda.
The P7 is currently in its first generation. Three main versions were offered at launch: two single-motor, rear-wheel-drive models and a higher-specification dual-motor, all-wheel-drive model. The rear-drive configuration uses balanced front-to-rear weight distribution, while the all-wheel-drive version adds electronically controlled suspension and variable power distribution.
Notable features include double-wishbone front and five-link rear suspension, a low-mounted battery, Honda SENSING 360+ driver assistance and Honda CONNECT 4.0 infotainment. Its sharp geometric styling and new-generation Honda “H” emblem distinguish it from the brand’s earlier e:N electric models.
