About FIAT TRIS
Introduced in 2025, the FIAT TRIS is a compact battery-electric three-wheeled commercial vehicle sold under the FIAT Professional brand. It is the first three-wheeler in FIAT’s range and was developed mainly for short-distance business transport, urban deliveries and mobile services.
The TRIS was designed by the company’s Centro Stile team in Italy and is manufactured at the Stellantis plant in Kenitra, Morocco. Its initial market focus is Africa and the Middle East, where small businesses and independent operators often require affordable, manoeuvrable transport for congested streets and local distribution.
Three main configurations are offered: chassis cab, flatbed and pick-up. The chassis cab supports specialised body conversions, while the other versions provide ready-made cargo platforms. Depending on specification, payload capacity reaches 540 kg, and the load area can accommodate a standard Euro pallet.
All versions use an electric powertrain with a claimed WMTC range of up to 90 km and a maximum speed of 45 km/h. Charging is possible from a standard 220-volt domestic socket in under five hours. At about 3.17 metres long and less than 1.5 metres wide, the TRIS sits below FIAT Professional’s conventional vans and pick-ups. It is known primarily as a simple, low-speed utility vehicle combining compact dimensions, flexible body options and zero tailpipe emissions.
