About FIAT Topolino
The FIAT Topolino is a two-seat electric quadricycle designed mainly for short urban journeys. Introduced in 2023, it revived the familiar Topolino name associated with FIAT’s original small 500, produced from 1936 to 1955. The modern vehicle uses the name to emphasise compact dimensions and accessible personal transport rather than to recreate the earlier car.
At 2.54 metres long, the Topolino is smaller and lighter than a conventional city car. It has a 6 kW electric motor, a 5.4 kWh battery, a maximum speed of 45 km/h and an official driving range of up to 75 km. Charging from a domestic socket takes about four hours. Production takes place at the Stellantis plant in Kénitra, Morocco.
The range was launched with the enclosed Topolino and the more open Dolcevita, which replaces conventional doors with door ropes and adds an open roof. Later variations have included additional colours and limited or special editions, while retaining the same basic urban-mobility format.
Within FIAT’s lineup, the Topolino sits below conventional passenger cars as the brand’s smallest personal mobility product. It is known for simple controls, easy parking, low-speed manoeuvrability and distinctive retro-influenced styling. Its classification, licensing requirements and permitted roads vary by country.
