About FIAT Strada
The FIAT Strada is a compact pickup introduced in Brazil in 1998. Developed for South American conditions and manufactured in Betim, Brazil, it was originally related to the Palio model family. A fully redesigned second generation arrived in 2020, bringing a more modern body, improved safety and greater everyday usability.
The Strada combines car-like dimensions with an open cargo bed. It is offered in two-seat Cabine Plus form, aimed mainly at commercial users, and as a four-door, five-seat double cab for mixed work, family and leisure use. Depending on version and market, equipment includes manual or automatic transmission and naturally aspirated or turbocharged flex-fuel engines. Current Brazilian variants include Endurance, Freedom, Volcano, Ranch and Ultra.
Earlier ranges included Working, Trekking and Adventure models, as well as single, extended and double-cab layouts. The Strada introduced several unusual configurations to its class, including an extended cab, a double cab and, later, a third side door.
Positioned below the larger Toro and Titano pickups in FIAT’s range, the Strada is known for practicality, manageable size, load capacity and versatility. It has become one of FIAT’s most important South American products and a long-standing leader in the Brazilian vehicle market.
