About Ferrari FF
The Ferrari FF is a four-seat grand tourer introduced at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show and produced until 2016. Its name stands for “Ferrari Four”, referring to its four seats and four-wheel-drive system. It succeeded the 612 Scaglietti and was later replaced by the GTC4Lusso.
The FF was offered in a single generation and primarily as one core model rather than a range of separate trim levels. Buyers could choose from extensive factory personalisation options. Its distinctive three-door, shooting-brake-style body was designed by Pininfarina and combined coupé proportions with a rear hatch and more luggage space than a conventional Ferrari sports car.
Power came from a naturally aspirated 6.3-litre V12 producing 660 cv, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The FF was Ferrari’s first production car with four-wheel drive. Its patented 4RM system retained a rear-biased driving character while adding traction on wet, snowy or otherwise low-grip roads.
Within Ferrari’s contemporary range, the FF served as the practical V12 flagship and the brand’s main four-seat GT. It was positioned for long-distance use and greater everyday versatility while retaining high performance. The combination of genuine rear seating, flexible cargo capacity, all-weather capability and a naturally aspirated V12 remains central to the model’s identity.
