About Ferrari F80
Unveiled in October 2024, the Ferrari F80 is a limited-production, road-legal hybrid supercar positioned at the top of the brand’s range. It follows Ferrari’s line of flagship models that includes the GTO, F40, F50, Enzo and LaFerrari, combining road-car usability with technology derived from endurance racing and Formula 1.
The two-seat F80 uses a carbon-fibre chassis and a driver-focused “1+” cockpit layout. Its powertrain pairs a rear-mounted 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 with an 800-volt hybrid system, including two front electric motors and a rear MGU-K. Total output is 1,200 cv, while the electric front axle provides all-wheel drive. An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission sends combustion-engine power to the rear wheels.
Ferrari plans to build 799 examples through 2027. The F80 represents a single generation and a standalone fixed-roof model rather than a broader family of regular production variants. Its design and engineering prioritise aerodynamic efficiency, low weight and track performance, with active suspension, an active rear wing and extensive use of composite materials.
