About Ferrari 12Cilindri

The Ferrari 12Cilindri is a two-seat, mid-front-engined grand touring sports car introduced in May 2024. It continues Ferrari’s long-running line of series-production V12 berlinettas and assumed the role previously held by the 812 family. Its name, Italian for “12 cylinders”, places the naturally aspirated engine at the centre of its identity.

The first generation is offered as the fixed-roof 12Cilindri coupé and the open-top 12Cilindri Spider. Both use a 6.5-litre V12 producing 830 cv, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Spider adds a retractable hardtop while retaining the two-seat layout and core mechanical specification.

Within Ferrari’s range, the 12Cilindri serves as the traditional series-production two-seat V12 grand tourer rather than a hybrid, mid-engined model or limited-production special series. It combines very high performance with the comfort, luggage space and refinement needed for longer journeys.

Notable qualities include a 9,500 rpm engine speed, rear-wheel steering, active aerodynamics and styling influenced by Ferrari GT cars of the 1950s and 1960s. Its clean, geometric exterior marks a visual change from the sculpted 812 Superfast, while the cabin uses a dual-cockpit layout and separate displays for the driver and passenger.
