About CUPRA Raval
The CUPRA Raval is a fully electric compact hatchback introduced in 2026. Named after Barcelona’s El Raval neighbourhood, it combines an urban focus with the sporty design and driver-oriented character associated with CUPRA. At just over four metres long, it is the brand’s smallest electric model and provides a more accessible entry point to its battery-powered range.
The Raval is designed, developed and produced at the SEAT & CUPRA plant in Martorell, Spain. It is the first fully electric vehicle manufactured at this site and forms part of the Volkswagen Group’s Electric Urban Car Family. Built on the MEB+ platform, it uses front-wheel drive and offers a practical five-door body with a 441-litre luggage compartment.
The range includes Raval, Raval Plus, Endurance and performance-focused VZ versions, with different power outputs, battery capacities and equipment levels. Depending on the version, claimed range reaches around 450 km. Launch editions add further equipment and styling choices.
Within the CUPRA line-up, the Raval is positioned as a compact alternative to the larger Born. It is known for its low sport chassis, progressive steering, distinctive lighting and driver-focused cabin. Higher-specification models add features such as adaptive suspension, an electronic limited-slip differential and CUPBucket seats.
