About Chrysler Voyager
The Chrysler Voyager is a large minivan closely related to the Dodge Caravan, Plymouth Voyager, Chrysler Town & Country and, more recently, the Pacifica. The Chrysler-badged model entered European markets in 1988, while the name appeared in the United States from 2001 to 2003 after the Plymouth brand was discontinued.
Five earlier generations were sold internationally. Depending on market and period, the range included standard-length Voyager and extended Grand Voyager versions, petrol or diesel engines, and left- or right-hand drive. Some European-market vehicles were assembled in Austria, while later models came from North American production. In continental Europe, the related fifth-generation model was sold as the Lancia Voyager from 2011 to 2016.
Chrysler revived the Voyager in North America for the 2020 model year as a more accessible version of the Pacifica. It occupies the practical end of Chrysler’s minivan range, with front-wheel drive, three-row seating and a V6 petrol engine. The model is best known for its spacious cabin, sliding rear doors and flexible Stow ’n Go seating, which allows the second and third rows to fold into the floor. For 2027, this version is being incorporated into the Pacifica range as the Pacifica LX.
