About Chrysler Pacifica
The Chrysler Pacifica name has covered two distinct vehicle types. It first appeared on a three-row crossover sold for the 2004–2008 model years. After a break, Chrysler revived the name for an all-new minivan launched for 2017 as the successor to the Town & Country.
The modern Pacifica is produced at the Windsor Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada. It occupies the more upscale, feature-rich position in Chrysler’s minivan range, with the Voyager serving as a simpler companion model. The minivan remains part of the generation introduced for 2017, although it received a substantial update for 2021 and a further refresh for 2027.
Pacifica versions have included petrol-powered models with front- or all-wheel drive and a plug-in hybrid. Trim names and specifications differ by model year, ranging from practical family-oriented variants to the luxury-focused Pinnacle. Depending on configuration, the cabin accommodates seven or eight occupants. The Pacifica is particularly known for its flexible three-row interior, sliding rear doors, available Stow ’n Go seating, extensive comfort and safety technology, and useful balance of passenger and cargo space. These qualities make it Chrysler’s principal family vehicle and a major competitor in the North American minivan market.
