About Chevrolet Enjoy
The Chevrolet Enjoy was a compact multi-purpose vehicle developed for India and sold from 2013 to 2017. It was a localised version of the Wuling Hongguang from GM’s SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture in China and was assembled by General Motors India at Halol, Gujarat. In Chevrolet’s Indian range, it served as an affordable three-row people carrier, positioned below the larger Tavera.
The Enjoy had a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and came with seven or eight seats. Seven-seat versions used second-row captain’s chairs, while eight-seat models had a bench. Engine choices comprised a 1.4-litre petrol unit and a 1.3-litre TCDi diesel, both matched to a five-speed manual gearbox. LS, LT and LTZ were the principal trim levels, with comfort and safety equipment varying by grade.
Only one generation was sold under the Enjoy name. A 2015 update introduced minor exterior changes and a revised cabin while retaining the same basic platform and powertrains. The model competed in India’s value-focused compact MPV segment, where passenger capacity, ease of access and economy mattered more than strong performance or premium finish. It is best known for its flexible seating, useful cabin space and straightforward mechanical design. The Enjoy was discontinued before Chevrolet ended new-vehicle sales in India at the close of 2017.
