About Chevrolet Blazer EV
The Chevrolet Blazer EV is a five-seat, two-row electric midsize crossover that joined Chevrolet’s North American range for the 2024 model year. Although it uses the established Blazer name and shares some sporty styling cues with the petrol-powered model, it is a separate, purpose-built EV rather than an electric conversion of the conventional Blazer.
Production began at General Motors’ Ramos Arizpe plant in Coahuila, Mexico. The model remains in its first generation, with the range organised around LT, RS and SS versions. LT serves as the mainstream specification, RS adds more distinctive exterior and interior detailing, and SS is the high-performance flagship with dual-motor all-wheel drive. Depending on model year and configuration, the range has included front-, rear- and all-wheel-drive layouts. A specialised Police Pursuit Vehicle has also been offered for fleet use.
Within Chevrolet’s electric SUV lineup, the Blazer EV is positioned above the smaller and more accessible Equinox EV. It is known for combining a roomy cabin and practical cargo area with large digital displays, available advanced driver assistance and a broad spread of performance choices.
