About Buick Envision
The Buick Envision is a five-seat compact crossover SUV developed for major markets including China and North America. It entered the Chinese market in 2014 and reached North America in 2016. North American models have been manufactured in China through the SAIC-GM joint venture, giving the Envision an unusual production context within General Motors’ US range.
Two main generations have been offered. The first established the Envision between Buick’s smaller crossovers and the larger Enclave. A fully redesigned second generation arrived for the 2021 model year with lower, wider styling, updated technology and an available Avenir luxury-oriented trim. Later revisions introduced refreshed exterior details and a wide digital display. Related Envision S and longer Envision Plus versions have also been sold in China, with specifications varying by market.

North American versions are offered in Preferred, Sport Touring and Avenir forms, covering core, sport-styled and more luxurious configurations.
