About Bugatti Tourbillon
The Bugatti Tourbillon is a two-seat hybrid hypercar unveiled in June 2024 as the successor to the Chiron and the start of a new era for the marque. It replaces Bugatti’s quad-turbo W16 formula with an 8.3-litre naturally aspirated V16 supported by three electric motors. Combined output is 1,800 PS, delivered through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive.
Bugatti plans to hand-build 250 examples in Molsheim, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin in 2026. Positioned at the summit of the brand’s road-car range, the Tourbillon combines very high performance with detailed craftsmanship. Its carbon-composite structure, active aerodynamics and hybrid powertrain use an all-new platform rather than an evolution of the Chiron.
The range centres on one core model with extensive bespoke configuration. The Équipe Pur Sang package adds motorsport-influenced details, including revised aerodynamic elements, directional wheels and an eight-outlet exhaust. Notable cabin features include a fixed, watchmaking-inspired analogue instrument cluster, a steering wheel that rotates around it and a crystal-glass centre console. The Tourbillon is defined by its combination of electrification and a naturally aspirated 16-cylinder engine, while retaining established Bugatti cues such as the horseshoe grille, central ridge and two-tone body treatment.
