About Bugatti Divo
The Bugatti Divo is a limited-production, road-legal hypercar developed as a more agile and aerodynamically focused counterpart to the Chiron. Unveiled in August 2018, it revived Bugatti’s coachbuilding approach by combining Chiron-based engineering with distinct bodywork, chassis tuning and character. Its name honours racing driver Albert Divo, who won the Targa Florio twice for Bugatti.
Power comes from Bugatti’s 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16, producing 1,500 PS. Compared with the Chiron, the Divo is 35 kg lighter and generates 90 kg more downforce. Revised suspension, steering and aerodynamics place greater emphasis on cornering response and lateral performance rather than maximum speed. Its top speed is electronically limited to 380 km/h.
Production was restricted to 40 customer cars, all sold before the public premiere at a net price of €5 million each. Deliveries began in 2020, and the final car was completed in 2021. The Divo had no conventional trim levels or series-production variants; each example was extensively personalised in colour, materials and detailing. Within Bugatti’s W16-era range, it sits above the regular Chiron as a rarer, more specialised road model known for dramatic styling, exclusivity and a clear focus on handling.
