About Bentley Batur

The Bentley Batur is an ultra-limited, coachbuilt grand tourer created by Mulliner, Bentley’s bespoke division. Unveiled in 2022, it followed the Bacalar and introduced a new exterior design language intended to influence later Bentley models. Its name comes from Lake Batur in Bali, Indonesia.

The original Batur is a two-door, two-seat coupé, with production limited to 18 customer cars. A two-seat Batur Convertible followed in 2024, limited to 16 examples. Both versions were individually commissioned and hand-built at Bentley’s factory in Crewe, placing them above the regular Continental GT range as rare collector-focused models rather than conventional series-production cars.

Power comes from the final and most highly developed form of Bentley’s 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 petrol engine. It produces 750 PS and 1,000 Nm, combining high-speed grand-touring ability with four-wheel steering, active anti-roll control and an electronic limited-slip differential. The Batur is therefore closely associated with the conclusion of Bentley’s W12 era.

Beyond performance, the model is known for extensive personalisation. Buyers could select distinctive paints, sustainable composites, titanium components and details made from 3D-printed precious metals. Each example reflects Mulliner’s emphasis on individual specification, specialist craftsmanship and very low production volume.
