About Audi Q3
The Audi Q3 is a premium compact SUV introduced in 2011. It brought Audi’s Q-family styling, elevated driving position and practical five-door layout into a smaller format than the brand’s larger SUVs. Three generations have been produced. The first entered production in Spain in 2011, while the roomier second generation followed in 2018, with production centred in Győr, Hungary. Successive versions have placed greater emphasis on digital controls, driver-assistance technology, cabin flexibility and comfort.
The range includes the conventional Q3 SUV and the Q3 Sportback, which uses similar underpinnings with a more steeply sloping roofline. Depending on model year and market, versions have offered petrol or diesel engines, front-wheel drive or Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive. Plug-in hybrid models have also joined the range.
