About Acura TSX

The Acura TSX was a compact executive car sold in North America for the 2004–2014 model years. Positioned as an entry point to Acura’s sedan range, it originally sat between the sporty RSX coupe and the larger TL. The TSX combined premium equipment with relatively compact dimensions and a stronger emphasis on handling than traditional luxury.

Two generations were offered. The first was available only as a four-door sedan, with a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine and either a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. The redesigned second generation arrived for 2009 with more interior space and refinement. A 3.5-litre V6 option joined the sedan range for 2010, while the four-cylinder model continued with manual or automatic transmission choices.

For 2011, Acura added the TSX Sport Wagon, providing greater cargo capacity while retaining the front-wheel-drive layout and four-cylinder engine. A Special Edition sedan later introduced distinctive exterior and interior details. Equipment varied by year and could include leather seating, navigation, premium audio and other comfort or technology features.

The TSX is known for responsive road manners, practical packaging and a balance between everyday comfort and sport-sedan character. Production ended after the 2014 model year as Acura reorganised its sedan lineup around the TLX.
